In 2024, Mercedes-Benz Middle East released its Ramadan campaign, Fill Your Life with Light and Blessings—a film built to inspire reflection, peace, and spiritual connection during the holy month. MusicGrid was brought in to compose the original soundtrack, produce the voice-over, and oversee the full audio direction for the campaign.

Scoring reflection and light for a modern Ramadan story

The Challenge

Mercedes-Benz needed a score that would support the emotional weight of the campaign—something reverent yet modern, cinematic yet culturally grounded. The music would accompany a slow, elegant visual story and be broadcast across the region, including YouTube, paid media, and social. It had to feel unmistakably Ramadan, while staying true to the global luxury identity of Mercedes-Benz Middle East.

Our Approach

We composed an original soundtrack built around ambient textures, soft piano, and subtle Middle Eastern instrumentation—designed to evolve as the narrative unfolded. Alongside the music, we also produced the campaign’s Arabic voice-over, casting and recording a tone that matched the film’s gentle pace and poetic rhythm.

In parallel, we provided music supervision, helping align the creative direction with agency stakeholders throughout the production. Every decision—from melody to mix—was made to reinforce the brand’s values of elegance, clarity, and cultural sensitivity.
