Jahez wanted to celebrate National Day in a way that went beyond visuals. The campaign needed to connect emotionally—through heritage—but also cut through the noise in one of the busiest digital moments of the year. The solution had to be culturally rooted, instantly recognizable, and simple enough to be embedded into a push notification.
MusicGrid worked closely with Jahez’s creative team during the ideation phase, where the concept of using a traditional Saudi melody as a notification sound was developed. Our role was to recreate and modernize the musical phrase—making it feel bright, polished, and ready for mobile use.
We crafted a short, high-impact version that maintained cultural integrity while sitting comfortably within the sonic space of a push notification—brief, catchy, and non-intrusive.
The sound was live for two weeks during National Day 2023 and triggered a notable spike in user engagement across the app. It stood out not just as a functional alert—but as a cultural nod that felt timely, thoughtful, and unique.
The campaign helped Jahez build emotional relevance and brand distinctiveness—delivering national pride in a format users actually heard.
